Mechanical Assembly

  • Perform repetitive assembly operations following work instructions.
  • Execute in-process checks using visual inspection and checklists.
  • Participate in manually integrating large subassemblies to complete a final assembly.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent lifting of materials and products up to 30 pounds.
  • Frequent use of hand tools.
  • Long periods of standing.

Education and Experience

  • High School Education or GED.
  • Some manufacturing experience desired.
  • Basic print reading and experience in wire dressing and termination.
  • Proficient in reading and measuring using a tape measure.
  • Operate hand pallet jacks to move material within plant.
  • Able to lift, squat, bend, reach, and stand as work requires.

Skills

  • Utilize a variety of hand tools such as screwdrivers, hex keys, drills, saws, tape measures, and fixtures.
  • Possess an aptitude for cross-functional training to reduce takt time.

Working Conditions

  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
  • Safety equipment to include but not limited to, eye safety glasses and safety shoes.
  • Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.

Pay

Pay Range (Massachusetts): $19.12 - $23.37 per hour.
