About the role

This Role Will Focus On

Responsibilities

• Built products on the assembly line according to customer specific technical drawings, instructions, or schematics.
• Competent in making all required assemblies in the range including those that are complex and are comprised of multiple types of components (training will be provided).
• Worked with a complex range of products with hundreds of SKUs (and growing).
• Understood the special importance of product quality, safety and performance for their application within biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Followed established manufacturing and safety procedures, to ensure we are complying with clean room requirements.
• Inspired the inspected assembled products for any faults or defects and reported any issues immediately to the Team Leader in the area.
• Reported incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the assembly line to your Team Leader for further exploration.
• Moved materials and components between workstations, safely handling waste materials and finished products to maintain a tidy and organised cleanroom.
• Aid with the daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning operations within the cleanroom environment to ensure we are complying with BS EN ISO 14644 clean room requirements.
• Ensured compliance with all company health and safety rules and regulations at all times, including contributing to any company health and safety initiatives and activities.
• Ensured you are complying with the ISO 14001 Environmental Standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience of working on an assembly line and following manual assembly techniques, ideally for single use solutions of 1-3 years.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and strict adherence to specifications.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring that assembly line output is aligned to cycle times.
• Worked effectively as part of an assembly team and developed strong working relationships with all key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.

Pay

Salaried. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, including education, experience, internal equity, geographic location, and the candidate’s expertise, and therefore may vary from the range listed. For roles based outside Massachusetts, the applicable salary range may be lower.
