Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and process documentation.
- Assemble components and finished goods to product specifications and established work instructions.
- Assemble and install electronic components into sub-assemblies and finished goods.
- Perform in-process and final tests/inspections to verify products meet specifications.
- Document and maintain manufacturing procedures, records, and required production documentation for specified devices.
- Calibrate, test, and maintain production and test equipment as applicable and assigned.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and comply with company rules and policies.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as fork trucks, pallet jacks, and work-assist vehicles, as needed and authorized.
- Support the company’s ISO/IEC 80079-34 initiatives and related quality requirements.
Qualifications & Competencies
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a technical assembly or manufacturing environment (electronics and/or electro-mechanical assembly preferred).
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precision assembly and alignment.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Able to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate positively with team members and other departments.
- Organized and self-motivated; able to work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions within established standards and practices.
- Ability to learn, apply, and master new assembly processes and skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
