As an Assembly Technician, you’ll help us build modular data centers right here in our manufacturing facility. This is a heavy-duty, hands-on role where you’ll work with a tight-knit production team to assemble modular buildings. You’ll be working with equipment to attach large parts to metal frames (up to 60 feet long), weatherproofing and sealing, and bolting components together using nuts, bolts, and fasteners.
Responsibilities
- Building & Assembly: Bolt together wall panels, steel columns, roof racks, light fixtures, and cable trays using nuts, bolts, and fasteners.
- Use wrenches, bridge/overhead cranes, forklifts, and power tools to finish assembling units.
- Weatherproofing & Sealing: Apply final touches like gaskets, caulking, and metal panel joints to make sure the modular units are sealed tight.
- Structural Work: Work with large equipment to attach parts to metal frames (up to 60 ft long), and help install metal siding and roofing.
- Modular Data Center Build-Outs: Work as part of a team to install equipment like GPU racks and electrical components inside modular buildings.
- Kitting & Pre-Work: Gather, count, and prep all the small parts and hardware (the "kits") needed for a specific assembly step before the work begins.
- Materials & Work Orders: Review work orders to make sure your team has the right parts and materials before starting each job.
- Labeling & Compliance: Help apply company logos, labels, and safety ratings to finished products.
- Inventory & Organization: Keep your workspace clean and parts organized to avoid production slowdowns.
- Team Support: Pitch in as needed to keep production moving.
