Responsibilities
- Assemble, test and paint wellhead and frac rental equipment
- Practice safe work habits and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies
- Inspect, operate and test completed products to verify function and conformance
- Position and align components for assembly manually or using hoists
- Torque connections using manual and hydraulic torque wrenches
- Adjust, repair, rework or replace parts and assemblies to eliminate malfunctions and ensure proper operation
- Read and interpret assembly drawings or standard operating procedures
- Maintain and lubricate parts or components
- Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; or a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic computer proficiency
- 3+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- Experience with drilling and production equipment
- Knowledge of wellhead and frac rental equipment
- Valid driver's license required
Physical Demands
- Able to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear
- Able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Able to regularly lift up to 10 lbs, frequently lift up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
- Able to close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment
- Able to work in an inspection and assembly environment with occasional exposure to loud noise, heavy equipment, temperature extremes, electrical equipment, and high-pressure testing
