About the role
The Assembly Technician at APX is responsible for performing intuitive and design-based assembly of custom designed industrial equipment. Physical demands include standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. The position requires multi-skill flexibility to adapt to various situations.
Responsibilities
- Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools
- Performs any mechanic-type functions, using hand or power tools
- Operates forklift as required (training available)
- Performs related duties as needed by supervision
Requirements
- No specific requirement for a diploma or degree from a technical institution or equivalent experience, but preferred.
- Multi-skill flexibility to respond to changing situations.
- Ability to operate various tools including belt sander, drills, rivet nut gun, grinders, and fabrication skills such as saws and rotors.
Qualifications
Desired qualifications include:
- Technical training or experience in assembly and mechanics
- Hands-on experience with various tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Pay
The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with days and hours of work being Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
