Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Ability to visually recognize the difference in parts
  • Ability to use hands to perform simple operations
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
  • Ability to lift 5 - 75 lbs. on a frequent basis
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, grasp, and pinch on a continual basis
  • Ability to work with oils and lubricants
  • Ability to read and interpret instruction sheets
  • Ability to operate multi function machinery
  • Ability to work with or without supervision

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency (GED)

Additional Requirements

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team skills
  • Must be able to complete and pass pre-hire training program
  • Available to work any of the 3 available shifts
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

About the Role

This position is responsible for a variety of assembly functions in preparing automotive drive-train components and any related processes including painting, welding, material handling, problem-solving and training. The assembly technician must support our 100% on time delivery goal; our 100% quality rating goal and our production standards.
