Essential Responsibilities
- Contribute to a safe and engaged work culture by ensuring compliance with policies and performing 6S duties.
- Maintain high levels of quality by resolving quality concerns and collaborating with the Quality department.
- Meet production demands, solve problems, and improve processes through cross-functional communication and training.
- Maintain production efficiency by measuring performance and addressing production issues.
- Promote employee engagement through communication, development, teamwork, and recognition.
- Schedule work activities, review performances, and provide feedback to manufacturing personnel.
- Coordinate manpower and develop process plans for customer orders.
- Plan material flow and physical layout of machines according to work orders.
- Manage personnel schedules and coordinate safety and training activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, plus five years of experience in a manufacturing environment with progressive leadership responsibility.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, electrical schematics, safety rules, and procedures.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to coach and mentor employees.
- Ability to speak effectively in front of groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with three years of experience in a manufacturing environment with progressive leadership responsibility.
- Seven years of experience in a manufacturing environment with progressive leadership responsibility.
- Five years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing software.
- Lean/Continuous Improvement experience (Green Belt preferred).
- Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
