Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with kitting, production, assembly, and pack out processes, ensuring efficiency, high-quality output, safety compliance, and timely delivery of products.
- Manage the daily activities and personnel of the daily production (kitting and pack out) function, which may include electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, or measurement product assembly on components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies.
- Oversee production schedules and allocate necessary resources to efficiently achieve project deliverables.
- Utilize and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and procedures to guide assembly activities and maintain operational accuracy.
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process controls or other quality assurance practices.
- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Aid in the development and execution of team goals, staffing plans, and training strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout all phases of production.
- Utilize production planning and scheduling tools to ensure resources are distributed effectively and product timelines are met.
- Identify and resolve complex production challenges, providing sound, innovative solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Develop and foster strong relationships with team members, customers, suppliers, and contractors to drive successful operations.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience managing industrial or assembly operations. Four (4) additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven expertise in utilizing and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to guide production activities.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Extensive experience with production planning and scheduling software, and thorough knowledge of production processes and manufacturing techniques.
- Knowledge and application of quality management methodologies and practices in continuous improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Solid understanding of inventory control, supply chain management, and project management principles.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- PREFERRED: Strong experience negotiating and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Adaptability to new technologies, procedures, and workplace innovations.
- Experience with implementing and sustaining lean manufacturing initiatives for operational efficiency.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
