About the role
The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production line operations at the Orion Castings North Billerica facility. They are responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure quality and efficiency
- Train and mentor new employees on safety protocols and production processes
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Manage employee schedules and resources to meet production goals
- Resolve production issues and provide feedback to improve processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or related industry
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
