Assembly Supervisor - Aerospace

About the role

The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for managing employees who perform the mechanical assembly of metallic aerospace components. The Supervisor is responsible for staffing, scheduling, and overall department operations. Supervisors are held accountable for safety and compliance, quality, production metrics, and continuous improvement for the assigned department(s).

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety guidelines and procedures and holds team accountable to the same; proactively identifies job hazards and collaborates with EHS Manager, maintenance personnel, and others to minimize hazards and ensure employee safety
• Communicates professionally and appropriately to convey instructions, demonstrate procedures, and manage employee performance and behavior
• Sets an example for integrity, communication, and compliance for others in the organization by following policies, communicating professionally, and providing timely responses to internal customers
• Complies with manufacturing processes, quality standards & procedures, and leader instructions consistently and accepts responsibility for his/her actions and
