Assembly Specialist I

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and finished products using hand and power tools, following work instructions and prints
• Select and inspect parts, complete assembly checklists, and ensure all components and accessories are included
• Maintain high quality standards by following internal processes and FDA/ISO regulations; report any defects or issues immediately
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or completed work to supervisors
• Operate basic material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks, lift tables)
• Meet daily production goals while accurately recording work in required systems
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Support a positive team environment and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Mechanical aptitude or assembly/manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions/prints in English
• Basic computer and digital tool skills required
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow procedures
• Team player who supports company goals

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Able to bend, reach, and move throughout the shift
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs (with assistance as needed)
• Comfortable working in a moderate noise environment
