Assembly Operator - Multiple Shifts
MacLean-Fogg is hiring an Assembly Operator at our Farmington Hills, Michigan manufacturing facility. This is a full-time, hourly, on-site role supporting quality production across available shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned mechanical equipment
- Ensure items produced pass quality control requirements
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and adjustments
- Read and interpret blueprints if applicable
- Use basic measuring instruments
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience
- Ability to interpret work instructions
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is an on-site manufacturing position involving the operation of mechanical equipment and use of basic measuring instruments. Employees must follow applicable safety, environmental, quality, and 5S requirements. The physical requirements described represent those needed to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Occasional overtime may be required.
Pay
$17.50/hour, with a $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd Shift.
