Role Summary The assembler assembles product parts following production guidelines, conducting quality checks and reporting any issues with quality, equipment or materials. Job Details Position Type: Full-timeWork Location: Sterling, ILShift:1st Shift - 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday2nd Shift - 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to FridayPay Range: $16.44-$17.01/hr Key Responsibilities Assemble basic product parts according to production guidelines and specificationsUse hand tools and power tools to assemble units and componentsPerform spot checks on assembled parts to ensure quality standards are metReport any issues with quality, equipment, or materials to the supervisorMaintain an organized work area and ensure tools are properly storedFollow established manufacturing procedures to complete assembly tasksFollow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and proceduresPerform all other duties as assigned Skills/Competencies AssemblyCalibrationProduct specificationsProduction toolsDexterityAbility to interpret work instructionsAbility to follow written and verbal directionsDocumentationBasic mathematical skills Qualifications (Preferred) Certifications: High School Diploma or GED Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds repeatedlyRequired to stand for extended periodsMust be able to push/pull objects up to 50 poundsFrequent bending and stooping requiredMust have the dexterity to handle small objectsMust be able to work in noisy environments.
