Assembly Operator II - 3rd Shift (Sun - Thur, 10pm - 6am)

About the role

This position is responsible for setting up and running the extrusion machine and performing quality checks to verify finished material complies with quality specifications. You will daily interface with the Planning/Scheduling team to forecast downstream product needs and regularly communicate with Maintenance and Engineering to address machine performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the extrusion machine.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure finished material meets specifications.
• Interface daily with the Planning/Scheduling team to forecast downstream product needs.
• Communicate with Maintenance and Engineering to resolve machine performance issues.

Requirements

• Experience with machine set‑up (highly preferred).
• Basic machine‑shop knowledge (preferred but not required).
• Ability to use inspection equipment to measure product conformance.
• Working knowledge of hand tools.
• Experience with SAP (preferred but not required).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 30 lb.
• Frequent reaching, grasping, standing, and walking required.
• U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent resident, asylee status, or refugee status (required for ITAR/EAR‑controlled information).

Pay

Competitive base salary: $19.00–$20.00 per hour, plus a 10 % shift differential for working 2nd shift (subject to change based on location).
