About the role
The Operator Assembly role is responsible for the manufacturing of mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies, cabinet assemblies, and final system assemblies. The work requires precise adherence to provided schematics and work instructions and is critical in the fabrication of high purity fluid handling systems.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop drawings and assembly schematics
- Perform system assembly under close supervision
- Maintain quality and productivity standards while meeting daily production goals
- Verify parts and materials against work orders, bills of material (BOMs), and drawings
- Identify non-conforming parts and report issues to supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic knowledge of Mechanical Assembly
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of Plumbing and Electrical systems (P&ID and Electrical Schematics)
- Ability to identify a measurement on a print (metric, fractional, and decimal) and take accurate measurements
