Job Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools
- Rotate between tasks
- Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or diagrams accurately
- Perform quality checks and identify defective or non-conforming parts
- Assist in plant duties such as parts inspection, inventory, cleanup, and minor equipment maintenance
- Report safety, quality, or production issues to supervisors in a timely manner
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment at all times (e.g., Gloves, Glasses)
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation (5S compliance)
- Participate in continuous improvement and team-based problem solving
- Attend training sessions and complete required materials
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Good hand control and ability to perform repetitive movements
- Ability to follow instructions precisely
- Stand for long hours, lift 25–50 lbs., and move efficiently
- Work in a safe manner and comply with safety rules and practices
- Effective communication with team members
- Efficiently manage tasks to meet production deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly-line environment
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodology
- Ability to use ERP or production tracking systems (e.g., barcode scanners or tablets)
- Ability to read technical drawings, wire diagrams, or exploded views
- Multilingual (especially in a diverse team setting)
- High School Diploma or GED
