Major Areas of Responsibility
- Basic assembly of various parts/components into completed unit sections and sub-assemblies
- Follows directions and adheres to Evapco Quality standards
- Identifies paperwork needed to build unit sections or sub-assemblies
- Takes constructive criticism and corrects mistakes promptly
- Takes initiative to enhance knowledge and learning
- Participates in team and shop problem-solving activities
- Maintains high safety, quality, 5-S, and productivity standards
- Meets or exceeds annual safety, quality, 5-S, and productivity targets
- Attends training courses as directed
- May perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
- Understanding and proper use of tape measure within 1/16”
- Must be able to use overhead crane (after receiving appropriate training)
- Must have a reliable means of transportation
- Basic shop math (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, whole numbers and fractions)
- Familiarity with common hand and power tools
- High School diploma or GED equivalent, preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Continuous standing, sitting, squatting, bending, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday
- Lifts up to 50 lbs.
- Continuous exposure to manufacturing and outdoor environments
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
- Shift work, Monday through Friday, and some weekends
