Assembly Inspector - 1st Shift (Quality)

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Assembly Inspector – 1st Shift (Quality). The hourly rate for this position is $24.45 per hour. The hours for this shift are 7 am – 3 pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly inspection of regulators at various locations in the assembly plants per established procedures and monitor conformance to quality standards.
• Perform visual inspection on interior and exterior of units.
• Perform visual inspection of units throughout the assembly process per established procedures.
• Inspect decals and stencils on exterior of unit and perform paint mileage check as required.
• Complete various company forms to communicate inspection status and other information and to document inspection results per established procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered; active-duty military service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Skills

• Quality inspection experience.
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
