About the Role

Assembly I operators maintain stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications while following established manufacturing procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
  • Repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
  • Perform repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail.
  • Cross-train and support all Assembly I roles.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures).
  • Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.).
  • Ability to follow blueprints.
  • Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Basic computer proficiency (data entry).

Work Environment

  • Emphasis on team collaboration and adherence to safety regulations.
