Assembler Trainee

About the role
We are seeking an Assembler Trainee to support our North American Hydro division in York, PA. In the position you will work on unique one-off mechanical assemblies for some of the largest hydroelectric machines in the world. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude to learn and be familiar with both hand tools and power tools.
Requirements
- Must possess High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrates basic abilities in Major Mechanical Assembly and Testing Techniques and Procedures
- Effective in Minor Assembly (i.e., valves, sub-assemblies, bearings, etc.)
- Demonstrate knowledge in the use of all assembly tools
Pay
$28.12/hour. Shift differentials for off-shifts of $2.50/hour. $31.25/hour after finishing the trainee program, plus the $2.50/hour shift differential for off-shifts.
