Assembler TN-2nd Shift

About the role

This position reports to the Assembly Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

Areas of Responsibility

• Assembly of fifth wheels and stationary mounts.
• Grinding.
• Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions.
• Perform any additional duties that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

Requirements

• Ability to work with hand tools, mechanical tools and various equipment accurately and safely.
• Ability to read and write legibly for inventory counts and labeling.
• Ability to work and communicate accurately with solid factual information.
• Effective team member; follow direction from area lead and supervision.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products.
• Compliance with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of the time. While performing duties, the employee will regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
