Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and components according to blueprints and technical drawings.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure assembled products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Perform data entry tasks, including logging assembly processes, product specifications, and quality control results.
- Operate screw machines and other assembly equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize assembly processes.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on assembly procedures, quality control methods, and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to enhance product quality and assembly efficiency.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience with data entry, safety protocols, quality inspections, and screw machines.
- Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and departments.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take the initiative to implement changes.
- Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to stand for long periods and handle small parts and tools.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or degree in a related field is a plus.
Pay
$20 - $22 per hour
