Job Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced-level assembly functions, which may include mechanical, electro-mechanical assemblies, fiber cables, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, and inspection.
  • Work from models and/or drawings, typically following Process Instructions and other written or verbal instructions.
  • Ensure precision, quality, and compliance by assembling and inspecting small components using a microscope and specialized tools, as required.
  • May perform soldering and installation of components to contract specifications, using a wide range of tools and equipment.
  • If required, perform all aspects of inspection.
  • Ability to work second shift hours: 2:00pm – 11:30pm.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialty area, such as welding or tool making.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $18.73/hour - $26.80/hour. The actual salary may vary based on factors such as federal contract labor categories and wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity.

Other factors that may influence the salary include the candidate's qualifications, such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
