About the role

You will help the team meet customer delivery schedules by performing assembly and test tasks that ensure product conformance and reliability. This is an onsite 2nd shift position (3:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday–Thursday) with training conducted on 1st shift for several weeks. You will collaborate with manufacturing peers, quality, and engineering stakeholders to support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly and test functions using hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment.
• Record test results on data forms and operate basic electrical equipment and flow meters.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
• Produce and inspect assemblies to ensure they conform to product specifications and customer/industry standards.
• Participate in lean initiatives by identifying and suggesting areas for improvement.
• Maintain safety protocols and FOD-free work areas; ensure equipment calibration per schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs as required.
• At least 1 year of general mechanical work experience preferred.
• Ability to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to demonstrate product and process knowledge and apply it to newly learned techniques.

Pay

$13.60 - $17.00/hour

Schedule

2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday–Thursday (training conducted on 1st shift for several weeks).
