Assembler

About the role

The Actuation facility in Chanhassen, MN is seeking an Assembler to support the assembly of electro-mechanical actuators in accordance with established blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality standards. This role offers a challenging and dynamic work environment in a temperature-controlled facility.

Responsibilities

• Utilize process and drawing instructions, blueprints, specialized tooling, fixtures, measuring equipment and hand tools.
• Follow quality requirements, quality assurance standards, processes, and controls, identifying and communicating occurrences of non-compliance/non-conformance.
• Participate in process and quality improvement activities.
• Perform assembly-type functions using hand and power tools.
• Show strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Commit to following company safety and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable using hands-held power tools, manufacturing machines, and test equipment to perform product assembly.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience reading drawings.
• Basic computer navigation and documentation skills.
• Frequent standing.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
• Must be a US Person.

Pay

Hourly rate: $19.00 to $23.00
