PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Locates and identifies type, size and quantity of all components needed to assemble product.
- Assembles equipment according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints using hand and power tools and some measuring devices.
- Checks completed units, ensuring proper alignment of parts and components and notes any need for modification.
- Conducts inspections to ensure proper operation of parts.
- Notifies management of malfunctions.
- Assists in trouble shooting, noting need for corrective action.
- Conducts hydrostatic tests as required or directed.
- Performs painting of finished product as needed.
- Uses forklift to move freight and/or inventory.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Reasoning Abilities: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Other Skills And Abilities: Ability to read blueprints, Knowledge of shop safety practices, Knowledge of quality assurance as normally acquired through in-house seminars and training.
- Above average skills in: Retaining Instruction, Demonstrated ability to: Progressively Assemble, General knowledge of: Mechanical applications.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and/or the ability to adjust focus.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is the minimum requirement, often supplemented by vocational or technical school training.
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
