Assembler - Night Shift (3rd Shift), Permanent

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparation of parts by simple chemical cleaning procedures
• Mounting of product with epoxy and solder
• Mounting of other components, e.g. hybrid sub-assemblies, with epoxy and solder
• Hand marking of devices
• Test components and assemblies once finished
• Sub-assembly fabrication to be used on final product
• Fibre optic attachment
• The assembler may need to use the SAP system to make certain transactions
• The assembler may assist the Team Leader in the training of new employees
• Performing other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Possess a High School Diploma
• Have experience in a manufacturing environment
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Have good organizational skills
• Experience with computer data entry (an asset)
• Good manual dexterity and visual acuity
• Bilingualism (French and English) an asset
