Primary Activities/Duties
- Assemble components and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete assembly tasks.
- Perform visual checks to ensure parts and assemblies meet quality standards.
- Packaging finished products and preparing them for shipment or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6-S and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift.
- Lift 25–50 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above shoulder level.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing assignments.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams in English.
- Basic computer skills; ability to learn and use software systems as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Safety Requirements
- Wear safety-toed footwear
- Safety glasses with side shields
- Hearing protection
- Other PPE as required.
Knowledge & Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic mechanical skills is helpful.
- Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is helpful.
Work Environment
- Warehouse and manufacturing areas with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, and noise.
