Assembler - Kitting

Job Summary

Responsible for assembling and fabricating various components, parts and wheelchair products. The assembler will interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to perform the necessary tasks associated with manual wheelchair manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of assembly experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Proficiency in the English Language (written and oral)
• Strong communication, reading, counting, and math skills
• Working knowledge of hand tools
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and perform accurate work
• Ability to read mechanical drawings preferred

• Interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics
• Perform tactical tasks required to takt time pace
• Ensure proper handling of components and materials
• Adhere to production schedules and deadlines
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve the assembly process

Pay and Benefits

The expected pay range for this role is $18.00 – $20.00 per hour. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Permobil offers our full-time employees the following:
