About the role
This is a first-shift position working a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you’ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit, and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions. Our Operations employees turn innovative engineering designs into real solutions to meet our customers’ needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex assembly or modification tasks on electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems.
- Solder through-hole, surface-mount, jumpers, and complex wiring on circuit card assemblies and other electro-mechanical devices.
- Perform operations for harnesses, including:
- Wire stripping and tinning (hand solder tinning and solder-pot tinning)
- Soldering wires to terminals and solder cups
- Wire splicing—solder wires by lap soldering wires together
- Using heat-shrinkable solder devices for solder splices
- Crimping a variety of contacts to wire
- Assemble, disassemble, and modify various production subassemblies by following work plans.
- Inspect results to ensure conformance to IPC-610 and/or IPC-620 standards.
- Perform tasks of lower-level solder assembler job descriptions as needed.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED or 4 years of manufacturing experience
- Active SECRET clearance
- Assembly, wire harness assembly, and soldering experience
- Certified for IPC-610
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified for IPC-620 standards
Pay
Full-time salary range: $52,841 – $84,545. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
