Assembler III

About the role

The Space and Defense Group within Moog, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assembler III to join their dynamic team in Salt Lake City, UT. Reporting directly to the Assembly & Test Supervisor, this role offers an onsite, collaborative working environment with a flexible 9/80 schedule on first shift.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment
• Maintaining accuracy of daily assembly production records
• Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Cross training on multiple production lines
• Supporting training and guidance for team members as needed
• Eligible to train for Final Inspection

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical/Vocational training with high emphasis on mechanical systems (preferred)
• 3+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace experience preferred)
• Attention to detail, organized work practices, and good housekeeping skills
• Read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOM, test specifications, and other instructions
• Prior experience with circuit cards and strong understanding of ESD
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office

Qualifications

Schedule

• Onsite – Salt Lake City, UT
• Flexible 9/80 schedule on first shift: M-Th, 7am-4pm, every other F 7am-3pm

Pay

• $25.00–$29.00 hourly
