About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Assembler III for our warehouse integration area in Denton. The primary responsibility of this role is to build fiber, power, and alarm distribution assemblies and perform software upgrades on equipment. The main focus is to complete shelter builds during the hot staging phase of fiber/power-based projects. You will be responsible for ensuring products are assembled to the highest standards of quality and delivered on time, working closely with Engineering, Order Management, and Logistics teams.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate with logistics department for job material staging
- Develop, execute, and adjust work plans to meet evolving requirements
- Build products in compliance with industry and quality standards
- Address quality findings promptly and take corrective actions
- Maintain accurate documentation of time and production records
- Identify opportunities for improvement and propose constructive suggestions
- Reach out to internal/external teams (Engineering, Project/Program Management) to resolve issues
- Troubleshoot issues independently, without needing frequent assistance
- Support engineering team in prototyping activities
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift/push 40 lbs
- Able to stand for two or more hours at a time
Skills And Abilities Required
- Stay updated on new and emerging technologies
- Advanced knowledge in communication systems, network wiring, and interconnection
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and internal process flows
- Fiber testing and related documentation
- Advanced computer skills, including logging into equipment for commissioning
Education And Experience Required
Associate's degree in business/telecommunication or related field from an accredited college/university, plus 3 years of related experience/training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
