Assembler II

About the role

Join the Manufacturing Assembly and Test team, reporting directly to the Assembly & Test Supervisor, and enjoy an on-site, collaborative working environment with a 9/80 schedule on First Shift. Hours are 7:00am – 4:00pm Monday through Thursday; 7:00am – 3:00pm every other Friday.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment
• Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly
• Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
• Cross training on multiple production lines

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Technical/Vocational training with high emphasis on mechanical systems desired
• 3+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Aerospace experience preferred
• Position requires attention to detail, organized work practices, and good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean work center
• Must be able to read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOM, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and verbal
• Prior experience with circuit cards and strong understanding of ESD
• Must be proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office
