Assembler I- Fiberglass Mold Shop

Goldshield, part of Terex Corporation, manufactures fiberglass parts for Fleetwood, Honda, Daimler, school buses, emergency vehicles, and heavy-duty trucks at our Decatur, Indiana facility. Terex is a global designer and manufacturer of specialized vehicles and equipment.

About the role

A Mold Shop Associate at Goldshield cuts and grinds fiberglass parts to meet customer quality and specification standards. You will work at assigned mold shop stations, use dust control practices, maintain a clean and safe work area, and verify work affecting the quality of finished products.

Responsibilities

• Cut and grind parts to meet customer quality and specification standards.
• Work at assigned mold shop stations while meeting acceptable quality standards.
• Use dust control practices to maintain a safer and cleaner work environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the shift.
• Verify work that affects the quality of the finished product.

Requirements

• Preferred 1-year experience in mold shop, fiberglass, cutting, grinding, manufacturing, or production.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to complete required Goldshield training certification.
• Ability to safely use cut/grind tools and follow station requirements.
• Ability to maintain attendance expectations and support production standards.
• Successful completion of drug and background screening.

Physical Demands

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Ability to work around constant noise levels of approximately 80 dB.
• Ability to work with constant exposure to dust on skin.
• Ability to stand, move, bend, and use tools throughout the shift.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch and overtime as needed.
