About the role
Vishay Spectrol is currently seeking applicants for an Assembler. The role involves performing assembly and testing of wirewound potentiometers according to drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include moving between different assembly processes, assisting in material issuance, and performing various duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and test of wirewound potentiometers to drawings and specifications.
- May move from process to process as necessary.
- May assist Lead in issuance of material, breakdown of kits, training or other miscellaneous duties.
- May be assigned to other duties in other departments or areas as needed.
- May be asked to perform other tasks as assigned by Lead and Manager.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work under a microscope.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic process operations in the manufacturing of potentiometers in assigned work centers while meeting labor standards.
- Read, interpret and follow engineering drawings and specifications.
- Utilize inspection gauges, tools and electronic test equipment.
- Demonstrate knowledge, aptitude and manual coordination.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15.
Skills
- Basic understanding of potentiometer manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in assembly and testing.

Pay
$18 – 20/hr depending on experience, Temp. Position

The ideal candidate will be working on-site in the city of Ontario, California, USA.
