Assembler - Foam

Essential Functions

• Supervises team for safe and efficient production standards
• Trains and coaches other assemblers to ensure work is performed as expected for safety, quality and production deadlines
• Gives feedback about performance and job expectations to ensure respectful accountability

Marginal Functions

• Sweeping and disposing of scrap foam/lumber or other miscellaneous items
• Performing other related work as assigned

Education/Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• Willingness to use heat sealers, utility knives, machinery and varying textures of foam
• Basic computer skills needed to log in and out of jobs with employee identification number
• Ability to learn new software

Preferred

• Prior experience leading or guiding a team
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Bilingual English-Spanish speaker
• Strong organization skills
