Assembler (Fall River)

Responsibilities

• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ensures compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment assembly - will train.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently.
• High school degree, diploma, or a GED equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills, and ability to multi-task.
• Good finger and hand dexterity.

Job Expectations

• Physical Activity: Occasional: 1-2 hrs/shift, Frequently 2-5 hrs/shift, Regularly 5-8 hrs/shift
• Work Environment: Regularly exposed to varying temperature conditions between 60-100 degrees Fahrenheit, loud noise, moving machinery parts, airborne particles, and fumes from production equipment.
