Assembler (Evenings 2:30pm to 11:00pm) - Cleanroom One

About the role

The Assembler is responsible for following work instructions and using a variety of equipment to correctly assemble, test, and package medical devices in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and package medical devices and related products in accordance with documented work instructions and procedures.
• Work in a cleanroom environment, following contamination control practices to ensure product cleanliness.
• Maintain consistent quality and workmanship of the products produced.
• Work cooperatively on an assembly team to achieve production targets.
• Understand and comply with Quality Management System requirements.
• Record information accurately, neatly, and where required.
• Successfully complete all assigned training.
• Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
• Assist other team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow standard safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Complete assignments in a timely fashion.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing environment (assembly experience preferred).
• Cleanroom experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to eight hours per day.
• Regularly required to work in a cleanroom environment, which includes gowning, wearing various coverings, and adhering to strict cleanliness control practices.
• Required to perform cleaning and related activities.
• May be required to perform or facilitate testing during non-standard shift hours.
• Frequently required to lift, carry, push, and/or pull 10-20 lbs.
• Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, and/or pull items up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to periodically bend or kneel and use color vision/depth perception.
• Ability to work under magnification (including use of microscopes) for extended periods of time.
• Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
• Regularly required to talk and/or hear.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $21.40 to $27.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour evening shift differential.

Schedule

Evening shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (Monday through Friday).
