Job Summary
Responsible for performing assembly operations for the single-use systems, assemblies, and products by performing assigned duties.Essential Functions
- Maintain a sterile environment by garbing, cleaning, and acting according to the CGMP guidelines for clean room procedures.
- Measure, cut, position, and align tubing and small components for assembly.
- Operate cable guns, tubing spreader, bag sealers, tubing cutter and manual cutting devices.
- Read instructions and drawing assemblies to identify product specifications.
- Determine sequence of assembly.
- Clean components and finished assemblies.
- Operate in clean room environment.
- Possess industry-specific training on how to assemble intricate parts or products in a controlled room or facility.
- Demonstrate attention to detail with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner by gathering and analyzing information skillfully.
- Listens to direction and obtains clarification.
- Able to read and interpret written information.
- Able to write clearly and informatively.
- Follows policies and procedures.
- Mets productivity standards.
- Observes safety procedures, reporting potential unsafe conditions.
- Uses equipment and materials properly.

- Prepares and assembles necessary parts/products based on Work Order.
- Completes all forms associated with each lot/batch prepared by Assembler.
- Able to understand assembly drawings.
- Hand/eye coordination.
- Fingers and hand/grip dexterity required.
- Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Adheres to standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and safety protocols maintaining compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Completes required forms associated with each lot/batch.
- Inspects and cleans components and finished assemblies.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent desired, with a minimum of six months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Experience & Competencies
- Previous assembling experience.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and bill of material (BoMs).
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
