This fully on-site position is located in Delaware, OH.
Responsibilities
- Follow production orders, company procedures, and supervisor directions to prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies.
- Perform assembly operations using power tools or specialized equipment to produce pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
- Prepare parts for assembly by grinding, blasting, cutting metals, etc.
- Execute assembly in accordance with company procedures and documents while meeting defined quality and safety standards.
- Maintain equipment in proper functioning status by applying preventative maintenance as instructed.
- Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency and/or quality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years’ experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, safety eyewear, safety footwear, face shield, and respirator if needed.
- Ability to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency with standard hand and power tools such as drills and grinders.
- Proactive in proposing solutions.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.
Pay
Starting pay: $23.00/hour, adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- Biweekly pay schedule.
