Equipment Operator, 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and reach trucks to load and unload products from inbound and outbound trailers.
• Manage inventory by stocking, rotating, and ensuring everything is in its proper place.
• Maintain and operate equipment such as forklifts with slip-sheet attachments, reach trucks (up to 35 feet), and rider jacks.
• Handle loading and unloading at the dock, down-stocking, re-stocking, and rotating dated products.
• Inspect shipments for errors or defects using scanner guns or wands and document any discrepancies.
• Perform routine quality checks to identify and report damages, shortages, or errors.

Requirements

• A dedication to safety, including wearing proper safety equipment and completing safety training.
• An attention to detail, paying close attention to stock numbers, finding defects in inventory, and being careful of surroundings.
• A completed high school education and knowledge of basic math.
• Previous forklift experience is preferred, but training and certification can be provided.
• The ability to lift products up to 75 lbs, several times throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

Warehouse Equipment Operator starts at $21.50/hr. Team members will receive a $0.50/hr increase at 6 months of employment and another $0.50/hr increase at one year of employment. Any shift that starts from 12 PM or later (off-shifts) also receives a $3/hr shift differential.
