Equipment Operator - 1st shift

About the Role

We are looking for an Equipment Operator (Mobile Crane and Switcher truck) to join our team, starting at 5am. This role involves the safe operation of machinery, delivering materials to production lines, and maintaining communication with other operators and crews.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of machinery on a daily basis
• Delivering materials of various size and weight to the Production lines (e.g., wet concrete, fabricated steel)
• Maintaining consistent communication with other operators and production crews to provide exceptional service
• Properly disposing of scrap materials throughout the day

Qualifications

• Equipment operation experience in a Heavy Manufacturing setting
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to operate machinery safely
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements

• Move a minimum of 50 lbs
• Spatial awareness and depth perception
• Walk, climb, bend at the waist, and reach
• Forceful use of hand tools
• Vocal projection

Work Environment

Typical industrial setting with varying climates, dust, noise, and moving machinery.
