Nature Of Duties

• Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on circuit boards and other types of electronic assemblies, specifically a communication rack.
• May include intricate installation, hand soldering, wiring, harnessing and hardware assembly.
• The daily function may vary from sitting to standing, moving line to stationary; with very light to medium weight components.
• Reads and follows detailed, color-coded instructions.

Physical Demands

• Sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Talk and hear in person.
• Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally may need to exert up to 30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move objects.

Education And Experience

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 – 1 years experience, training is provided.
• Must be able to visually inspect small items for accuracy.
• Must have manual dexterity to handle small parts.
• Eye-hand coordination is necessary.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills preferred.
• Has willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent punctuality, good attendance, and reliability required.
• Adeherence to health and safety regulations.
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Prior Sanmina experience and systems knowledge is preferred.
