Job Summary
To learn and perform basic electronic and/or mechanical assembly tasks such as mini tubes, extended assemblies, etc. following specific work instructions while under direct supervision. These tasks are completed by utilizing binding materials, potting powder and small hand tools while working under a microscope to assemble the three basic training part types of well-defined nature.
Responsibilities
- Complete required training and work closely with experienced operators to develop job proficiency.
- Read, interpret, and follow method sheets, blueprints, and standard work instructions.
- Perform assembly operations with minimal supervision while meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet specifications and proper component fit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with plant standards.
- Follow all safety policies, wear required PPE, participate in training, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher completed and verified prior to start.
- Ability to work with small parts under a microscope for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
- Experience using microscopes in a production or inspection environment.
- Experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers or micrometers.
- Experience assembling small or high-precision components.
- Familiarity with reading blueprints or working in controlled/cleanroom environments.
- Basic math skills, including four-function math and working with decimals.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify acceptable vs. non-conforming product.

Pay
The starting rate of pay for this position is $19.67-$25.68. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
