About the role

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing operation of TWG products, focusing on assembling parts according to Bill of Material, Bill of Operations, engineering drawings, and other related controlled documents. They will operate hydraulic and manual presses, perform test procedures, maintain accurate ERP transactions, repair and maintain mechanical equipment, drive forklifts, and kit parts based on production schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts according to Bill of Material, Bill of Operations, engineering drawings and any other related controlled documents.
  • Operate hydraulic and manual presses to assist in assembly operation.
  • Perform test procedures on assemblies as directed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical equipment.
  • Be able to drive forklift truck, hand trucks or manually move parts as directed or required.
  • Complete kitting parts based on production schedule.
  • May be required to train other employees and help in other departments as directed.
  • Initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified, protect the environment, including preventing pollution, analyze or identify areas for correction or improvement.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three years related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to travel as required and/or directed.
