Assembler
Position Description
Makes simple setups and/or minor adjustments to the equipment required to produce a variety of products and to maintain processes per specifications.
Operates one or more units of the following type of production equipment: press brakes, spot welders, or other similar or related devices.
Builds and wires electrical components.
Works from written and verbal schedules.
Reports damage to supervisor.
Assembles sheet metal parts using hand and power tools.
Performs material handling operations as directed.
Pulls from stock, assembles and packs to complete orders.
Maintains accurate production records.
Responsible for quality of own work.
Responsible for keeping work area clean, safe and orderly.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lifts 50lbs while standing.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
