Assembler

Responsibilities
- Assemble basic components using hand tools and equipment designed for light assembly.
- Perform repetitive tasks such as attaching, labeling, or packaging parts with precision and attention to detail.
- Track and document production metrics, including completed units or defects.
- Follow step-by-step written or verbal instructions.
- Inspect products for defects and functionality to quality standards.
- Identify and segregate defective parts for review.
- Document issues encountered during assembly using tools and standards to verify product quality and functionality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform basic equipment checks (e.g., ensuring tools are operational).
- Maintain awareness and report to leaders’ potential safety hazards.
- Work closely with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to address challenges and improve processes.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to report issues and provide updates.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Store tools and equipment properly.
- Work overtime as needed to meet production goals.
- Crosstrain in other areas and adjust to new processes or technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements: No experience required.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with assembly techniques, tools, and equipment. Basic computer literacy.
- Essential Skills: Effective communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and testing equipment effectively. Ability to produce parts and products to meet quality standards. Ability to identify issues and communicate to leaders. Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain hazard awareness. Ability to collaborate effectively with all employees.
- Preferred Qualifications: No experience required.
- Physical Demands: Manual dexterity, repetitive motion (bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, grasping), standing duration (up to 10 hours per shift), lifting requirements (up to 35 lbs), environmental exposure (noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, temperature extremes).

Pay
Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. The expected Base Hourly Range: $18.00 - $19.00.
