About the role

Teledyne Reynolds, a business unit of Teledyne Defense Electronics, LLC, seeks a dynamic individual to join their team. They supply high-quality, high voltage interconnect solutions to demanding applications in military/defense, industrial, medical, energy, and space industries.

Responsibilities

• Reads worksheets and wiring diagrams, selects components, such as integrated circuits, contacts, wires, and connectors.
• Molds cables assemblies, monitoring temperature, pressure, and visual indicators.
• Removes flash from molded cable assemblies using hand tools.
• Uses hand and small power tools to place small components in boards, cables, connectors, etc.
• Inspects parts and performs basic tests.
• May perform other assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, and color-coding parts and assemblies.
• Performs work under a microscope.
• Ensures quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.
• Records information on production records, logs, and other report forms.
• Provides basic training and instruction to lower-level assemblers on day-to-day assignments.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• 0-2 years related experience
• Soldering experience preferred
• Ability to handle/use small tools and components (tweezers, pliers, cutters, soldering iron, ovens, crimpers, screwdrivers, wire cutters, wrenches, vises and continuity testers, oscilloscopes and electrical test equipment)
• Working under a microscope
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Excellent math skills (algebra)
• Read and understand blueprints
• Learn and perform mechanical, electrical, and swage testing
• Able to follow specific procedures and detailed instructions completely
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees)
• Passes a satisfactory background check and drug screen
