This is an E Shift position on a 3-2-2-3 shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 8am to 8pm. Shift is subject to change based on business needs.

Pay

$15.90 an hour

About the role

Operate, optimize, and change over assigned departmental production equipment. Responsible for meeting/exceeding production standards, maintaining product quality, minimizing/preventing equipment downtime, and sustaining budgeted waste levels on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment within the Sharps Department, while meeting quality, productivity, waste, and safety goals.
• Operate all packaging equipment, ensuring that product is properly packed and labeled per specification.
• Participate as a team associate in activities required to ensure successful daily operations of the Sharps Department.
• Operate all equipment at acceptable quality and quantity levels.
• Perform quality checks as required by specifications.
• Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality check records.
• Notify technical personnel of equipment malfunctions.
• Utilize Batch Numbers as assigned in SAP.
• Stamp Batch Numbers on shelf cartons and case cartons with correct product and batch information.
• Perform general housekeeping duties throughout shift.
• Observe all safety and environmental procedures and Quality Systems Requirements (QSR).
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor to support the needs of the business.

Requirements

• Candidate can start while background checks are pending once all criminal background checks have first cleared.
• Eye exam is required.
• No drug screening is required.
